Lonsdor K518ISE Program Subaru Forester 2016 Remote Key

Here’s the guide to program 3-button remote keys to Subaru Forester 2016 with key chip ID62  (80 bits).  The chip and remote control l programming is performed by the Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

Left: new blank key; Right: original key

 

Procedure:

Connect K518  host with vehicle via OBD socket

Select Immobilizer->Subaru->Select from type->Immobilizer->Type 6(4D 82G chip)

Check key number

Turn on ignition switch

Lonsdor k518 identified 1 key programmed

Select Add key function

Insert original key and turn on ignition switch

Turn off ignition and then turn on

Key has been programmed

Insert new key, turn on ignition and then turn off

Repeat to program more keys if you need

Programming completed

Check number of keys programmed: 3

Select Program remote function

Turn on ignition

Turn ignition off and remove key

Program all remote keys within 5 sec

Press LOCK and UNLOCK button to program remote control

Repeat procedure to program other remotes

Test the remote controls

Success.
