Lonsdor K518ISE (same company made SKP1000) has wide key programming vehicle coverage , especially Volvo (S40, S60, S80, XC60, XC90, C30, C70, V40, V60, V70). Here’s demo guide on programming V60 smart key with K518.
Step 1:Read the CEM security data
Volvo’s CEM is basically located behind the storage box which is in front of the co-pilot seat
Dismantle & read CEM to backup security data
Connection between Lonsdor K518ISE host, adapter and RN-01 board :
Read Volvo CEM please use RN-01 adapter.
Read CEM data and save it as VOV.BIN
Step 2: Program Smart Key
Reinstall CEM back to vehicle
Connect Lonsdor K518 host with vehicle via OBD socket
Select IMMOBILIZATION->VOLVO->Add a key
You can also program all keys lost if lost all keys
K518 ask to upload CEM data just read
Select and update CEM data VOV.BIN
Press on Start button
Follow K518 prompt then it will show you current key programmed: 2
Insert new key to be programmed into card slot
Follow K518 prompt to complete
Key programmed: 3
Program success.
Program smart key complete, remote will automatically generated
Test the new remote.
