SKP1000 Key Programmer Adds Kia Sorento 2014 Smart Key by OBD

Guide to add a smart key on Kia Sorento 2014 with SKP1000 key programmer by OBD.

 

Key information:

Original key: 3-button smart key

Frequency: 433MHz

Chip: 47 chip

Start: One button Start-stop

Slot: Without slot

Pin Code: calculate by VIN

Device: SKP1000 Tablet car key programmer

 

Procedure:

Connect SKP-1000 with vehicle via OBD diagnostic socket

Turn ignition ON

Go to Immobilizer function and select Kia brand

Select Smart key

Select By System

Select Smart System 6 (New type without slot)

Select Without slot

Choose OBDII Connector

Turn ignition switch to OFF position

Open and close the door before communication

SKP1000 auto key programmer will prompt to enter 6-digit pin code

Press on the Start button with original smart key vertically within 5 seconds

Press YES to continue

Programming…

Press on the Start button with the smart key vertically

Register smart key success. Continue to program next key?

Press YES to continue

Press on the Start button with a new smart key vertically within 5 seconds

Program key success!

Press NO to go back

Test the new smart key.

Done!
